Sri Lankan Biz Council in Dubai promotes Expo 2020

A successful event was organised by the Sri Lankan Business Council (SLBC) in Dubai and Northern Emirates on 15 January at the Pullman Hotel at the Deira City Centre. 

The SLBC’s Business Talk ‘Second of our Series’ was hosted by Farook Kassim and sponsored by JadoPado.com. The main guest speaker was Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of RTA Licensing Agency. Ahmed spoke about the journey of the Dubai Government over the years and the future plans beyond EXPO2020 as well as the success of their e-Government initiative. An interesting roundtable discussion also took place in which topics such as fee hikes, the possibility of the extension of metro lines and the direction of RTA were tackled in order to further address the needs of the public.
