Sri Lanka’s first and largest medical equipment exhibition will be held from 15 to 17 March, 2013 at BMICH. The most sophisticated healthcare equipment from India, China and Dubai will be showcased at the Medical Exhibition for the benefit of hospitals, healthcare centres, traders and healthcare professionals.
The exhibition is an opportunity for local and international stakeholders in healthcare to explore the latest medical equipment.
The Chennai-based Medical exhibition travels to Sri Lanka in its 10th edition, to partner with the Medicare National Healthcare Exhibition 2013.
Medicall is organised by Medexpert Business Consultants and the Western Province Department of Health under the Chairmanship of Western Province Health Services Provincial Director Dr. Amal Harsha De Silva.
The Ministry of Health and a number of professional medical associations in Sri Lanka have pledged their support for the exhibition.
The event is managed by Aitkin Spence conventions and exhibitions.
The Medicall Exhibition will be a platform for South-east Asia’s most comprehensive range of medical equipment for use in hospitals, nursing homes, laboratories and GP surgeries.
From the safest and latest in diagnostics, laboratory work, scanning and monitoring, surgery, refrigeration and storage, as well as medical accessories, fittings, and clothing will be on display at Medicall.
The exhibition is a convenient way for healthcare businesses to meet with partners and carry out discussions.
Medicall will also host Sri Lanka’s first medical industry leader’s conference where local and international healthcare specialists have been invited to speak.
Topics to be discussed at the conference include; how to invest in hospital equipment, cost vs. quality of healthcare, patient safety, selecting a suitable specialisation for hospitals, and IT made simple for hospitals.
Provincial directors, bio-medical engineers, and regional directors in health services, as well as traders and hospital owners are invited to attend Medicall.
