Strengthening of trade ties between Malaysia and Sri Lanka

The Sri Lanka Malaysia Business Council of The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce hosted the visiting Malaysian delegation from the Malaysia-Sri Lanka Business Council for a joint business council meeting on Monday 11 November 2013 at the Colombo Courtyard.

The delegation consisted of Dialog Axiata PLC Chairman YBhg. Dato’ Azzat Kamaludin, Federation of Malaysian Sri Lankan Organisations (FOMSO) President YBhg. Dato’ Kulasegaran Sabaratnam, Kumpulan Fima Berhade Chairman YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Ir Md Radzi Mansor and Qi Ltd. Executive Officer, Group Managing Director’s Office Krish Kumar. The President Sri Lanka-Malaysia Business Council Nilrukshi De Silva mentioned in her speech that it was a great honour to the Sri Lanka Malaysia Business Council and Sri Lanka as a whole for the participation of the delegates at the Commonwealth Business Forum. The De Silva also stated that she looks forward to increased trade relationships and joint Business Council events between Sri Lanka and Malaysia as a result of the Commonwealth.
