Suncity unveils future prospects for expansion

Suncity Property Developers (Pvt.) Ltd, one of Sri Lanka’s leading construction companies announced plans to expand beyond Colombo. With a repertoire of having constructed some of Colombo’s finest luxury apartment complexes, ranging from the Rosmead Towers, Horton Towers, Horton Regency and most recently the Suncity Twin Towers, Suncity Property Developments (Pvt.) Ltd is now expanding its horizons beyond the boundaries of the commercial capital to offer affordable luxury to all.

Speaking on the new expansion planned for Suncity, Managing Director of Suncity Pinsiri Fernando stated.

“We have had amazing success in the past with our development and our primary aim is to offer affordable luxury to our customers. In this view we see a lot of potential in the suburbs of Colombo as we feel these are the areas that will become the focal points for the nation’s development in the years to come.”

While their apartments have always been ideal examples of luxury and for providing the finer things in life to their clientele, the company’s long track record of consistency and reliability as well as its aim to provide all these facilities at affordable prices, is a testament to its commitment towards being a leader in the industry.

Sunicty has aimed to break through barriers in many instances during their past, be it through the development of Rosmead Towers in Colombo 7, consisting of 40 luxury apartments renowned for being a ground breaking contribution to the Colombo skyline in its heyday or 1999’s McCarthy Towers, known for its convenience and facilities.

With the increase in development in the nation and the rapid growth rate projected for Colombo in the next few years, Sun City is determined to not only provide economically viable housing within the commercial capital but to expand into the suburbs around Colombo.

The first project in this venture has been the construction of its luxury Melbourne Towers (Stage I) apartment complex in Moratuwa, with 41 apartments located conveniently on Fraser Avenue with a stunning view of the Bolgoda Lake. Each apartment is also equipped with the trademark amenities including air conditioning, hot water and porcelain tiling.

Residents will also have access to a fully furnished gymnasium, swimming pool, and rooftop garden.

Along with the current project of the second stage of the Melbourne Towers building in Moratuwa, Suncity is also laying the ground work for the construction of residencies in Malabe, Wattala, Maharagama, Kiribathgoda, Kurunegala and Mt. Lavinia. Each of these residencies will comprise of 24 luxury apartments and their trademark amenities including pool and gym facilities and rooftop gardens.
