Synergy Ventures expands with dealership for Hansa

Synergy Ventures, a specialist distributor of premium sanitary fittings and tiles, has been appointed the sole agent in Sri Lanka and the Maldives for Hansa, Germany’s top sanitary fittings brand, with effect from January 2012.

A globally renowned brand associated with exclusive sanitary fittings for over 100 years, Hansa produces a range of faucets for kitchens and bathrooms, hand showers and shower systems, concealed systems, thermostats, attractive accessories and numerous other kitchen and bathroom fittings.

Following its appointment as the agent for Hansa, Synergy Ventures has commenced distribution of Hansa products through 30 leading sanitary ware outlets in Colombo and in other parts of Sri Lanka, the company said.

“The quality and design versatility of Hansa’s offering make the brand’s products equally suited for elegant VIP lounges and boutique hotels as well as for application in homes and public venues,” Managing Director of Synergy Ventures Kamil Hussain said. “With the growth of new concepts in architecture such as green buildings, there is significant potential for the offering of Hansa, due to its advanced features in many aspects including water saving features.”

Hansa is the only sanitary fittings brand available in the country which manufactures its products in Germany and offers a 12 year warranty -- two years more than products of other premium sanitary brands available in Sri Lanka, Chairman of Synergy Ventures Faham Nauman said.

Products of Hansa have been endorsed with some of the most prestigious international design awards for superlative design and by top industry specialists for superior performance and convenience as well as ecological, health and safety, durability and technological features. Sophisticated ecological features of Hansa products enable users to save up to 75 per cent of water consumption and a substantial amount of energy.

While catering to the needs of premium customers with products of exquisite designs under the ‘Hansa Edition’ and ‘Hansa Living’ categories, the international sanitary fittings brand also offers products of attractive simple designs with emphasis on functionality through its offering under the ‘Hansa Home’ category. Hansa products are also available under the ‘Hansa Plus’ category.

Products personalised according to specific requirements of customers, can also be obtained from Hansa. This includes addition of company logos on handles or other surfaces of the fittings.

The design team of Hansa includes legends of the calibre of Bruno Sacco, a former Head Designer of Daimler-Benz and three other renowned designers.

Among high-profile awards won by Hansa products are two awards at the ‘Designpreis der Bundesrepublik Deutschland’ (Federal Republic of Germany Design Prize), the highest official design award in Germany, for which entities cannot apply but have to be nominated. Hansa has also won the award for the ‘best of the best’ and two other awards at the Red Dot design awards which attract over 4,000 submission from 40 countries annually and an iF design award for which 1,800 competitors compete from 30 countries annually.
