Synex Group celebrates 12th anniversary

In early 1999, Synex was formed initially as a single company named Synex International (Pvt) Ltd. and formally established on 18 March 1999 with the prime objective of offering total turnkey services (design and build) with new features and enhanced functionalities to cater to the customer demands by perfectly fulfilling their expectations.

Synex Group marks 12 years of empowering business this year, during which period the Group has immensely contributed by enriching the capacities for competitive advantage towards the business excellence of hundreds of leading business organisations representing various industries, locally as well as internationally.

Managing Director R.P.P. Senaratne, in a message of felicitation, said: “Among the primary objectives of our company is to increase the quality of profit rather than the quantity of profit. Synex Group is the parent organisation for four companies in the same field, serving different market segments: Synex International (Pvt) Ltd., which focuses on local projects related to the garment industry; Synex Holdings (Pvt) Ltd., which focuses on overseas projects; Synex Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., which focuses on large non-garment industry related projects; and Synex Engineering (Pvt) Ltd., which focuses on extra low voltage systems.

The services offered by the Synex Group includes total turnkey solutions and installations, computer aided lighting design systems, designing and manufacturing of reflectors for fluorescent lamp fittings, designing of all systems according to the local and international standards, power generation and distribution systems and office automation systems.

Synex has the capacity, expertise and long years of experience to the credit of its strength to extend electrical solutions at any level ranging from extra low voltage to high voltage systems.

According to the Board of Management, the Group has marched forward a challenging journey throughout the past 12 years passing critical milestones, at times. Difficulties for market penetration, competition, behavioural and decisive factors of the customer companies in the face of global economic crisis, winning customer confidence, etc., had become the hard challenges over the past years. They have won all such challenges and with a deserving sense of victorious pleasure Synex Group celebrates its 12th anniversary.

Synex, a registered body at the Institute of Construction Training and Development (ICTAD) under the category of EM 01 (unlimited) on financial terms, has also obtained the membership of US Green Building Council in 2009.

Appreciatory notes being placed on record by numbers of client companies including various leading business organisations, both at home and abroad, have become a meaningful performance indicator for self estimation of their service excellence.

Achieving the certification for international standards of ISO 9001 – 2008 in the year 2010 is yet another turning point which will add fuel for its forward march to go from strength to strength.
