Technology workshop by Dr. Jordan Samhuri

Power Asia Ltd. has invited Dr. Jordan Samhuri to Sri Lanka to conduct a full day workshop on the subject ‘Impact of Technology on Business’ scheduled for 17 January 2012 at the Cinnamon Lake side from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dr. Jordan is a medical scientist with focus on cancer; he shifted his interest to business and technology since1993. He is the author of 15 3D science books. Inspired by Arthur C. Clarke and Isaac Asimov since childhood, he is currently finishing writing a science fiction novel about the history of mankind out of our solar system. He also writes many science essay articles for the purpose of popularising science to the public.

Dr. Jordan is a humanist and strongly believes that our future will soon witness the dissolution of the world’s current economic system and all borders between countries. We will all one day just belong to Earth, proud to be human!

He is well known in many countries around the world as a great motivational speaker and an excellent lecturer. Dr. Jordan owns and operates three technology based businesses in three countries around the world.

This workshop addresses issues related to how business and daily lives are influenced by science and technology. It starts with cavemen 10,000 years ago and traces progress to our human achievements until today. Then it goes farther into the future, giving a road map on how if a business does not adapt, does not plan, does not forecast for the coming trends, it is doomed to extinction. Change is inevitable. Flexibility and adaptation is a must.

Dr. Jordan explains in graphic format and inspiring music how humanity must work together for a brighter future. Science and technology are our only chance to survive. The alternative is to believe in demons and myths of the past, with all the ignorance, fear, and destruction they bring.
