Thilanga represents Sri Lanka at capacity building workshop

MP and Sri Lanka-Australia Parliamentary Friendship Association Secretary Thilanga Sumathipala left to Melbourne, Australia to participate at the ‘Planning Research Into Capacity Building for CDF Allocations and/or Spending Decisions’ workshop. The workshop will take place on 12 and 13 March at Monash University and is conducted by the Monash University, Monash Governance Research Unit.

Minister Chamal Rajapaksha has nominated MP Sumathipala to represent Sri Lanka at this workshop.

The following areas will be covered during the workshop: Introduction about Constituency Development Funds (CDF); Principles and guidelines for CDFs; Experience of CDFs; Identifying a research Agenda; Identifying research questions; Identifying research priorities and planning a research program.
