Thomas Daetwyler appointed to Lanka-Baur Holding S.A. Board

The Chairman of A. Baur & Co. Ltd. Thomas Daetwyler has been elected to the Board of Directors of Lanka-Baur Holding S.A. which is the owning company of both A. Baur & Co. Ltd., Sri Lanka and Baur Asia Ltd., Singapore. After 16 years with Baurs Thomas Daetwyler handed over the leadership of A. Baur & Co. Ltd. at the beginning of 2014 to Lakshman Niyangoda as new Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director. With this appointment Lanka-Baur Holding S.A., Switzerland shows once more its commitment to Sri Lanka in the spirit of its founder Alfred Baur who established Baurs in 1897.
