Most important of all, the 6th Professional and Career Women Awards 2016 takes place solely as a result of the support and foresight of committed sponsors, several of whom have returned from previous years. It must be noted that these sponsors have taken it upon themselves to advocate inclusive workspaces, having begun in earnest to work towards a more equitable future for all.

Gold Sponsors for the 6th Professional and Career Women Awards 2016 consist of Prestige Automobiles (BMW, Mini and Hyundai), Singer and Sampath Bank, while the Prime Lands Group, Coca Cola 5by20 and Lanka IOC are on board as Silver Sponsors.

Women in Management Founder/Chairperson Sulochana Segera said: “Today, sponsors who partner with these Awards are looking for more than just publicity or brand awareness for their product or service. Their main objective is to assist our country and allow us to meet the global requirements for gender equality.  It’s a great pleasure to work with these prestigious sponsors, who also strive towards the objectives of the Awards, while supporting our national agenda.”

Aside from top corporate and civic leaders already having confirmed their attendance at the 6th Professional and Career Women Awards, 2016, a number of notable diplomats and representatives of International Non-Governmental Organisations will also be showing their support at this event, along with a number of key members of Sri Lanka’s Cabinet of Ministers.

The Professional and Career Women Awards celebrate remarkable women who inspire others through achievements in careers, businesses, and everyday lives.
