TISL discusses assets, liabilities and politics

Assets, Liabilities and Politics is the theme of the Sambhashana panel discussion organised by Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) to be held at the J.R. Jayewardene Centre on Monday, 31 October at 3.30 pm.

Professor K. Karunatilleka of the Sociology Department - University of Kelaniya, Ravaya Chief Editor Victor Ivan and former member of the Human Rights Commission and senior lawyer Junaid Yusuf will be the panellists. The moderator will be PAFFREL executive director Rohana Hettiarachchi.

TISL invites everyone interested to attend the discussion, which is being held in the backdrop of the directive by the Commissioner of Elections, Mahinda Deshapriya to the newly elected members of local authorities that they should declare their assets and liabilities.
