TNT Express delivers life saving medical equipment to Ministry of Health

TNT Express recently shipped vital kidney dialysis machines from Sydney in Australia to the Ministry of Health in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
An official ceremony was held at the Ministry of health to recognise TNT’s accomplishment and was attended by many officials and directors.
Sri Lanka is one of the few countries that offer free healthcare services for its citizens, and such medical supply will provide a much needed assistance to hospitals across the country.
TNT Express in Sri Lanka manages 15 branches Island wide as well as 12 franchised offices.
Commenting on the delivery, Rushan Sumanaweera, Country Manager for TNT Express in Sri Lanka and the Maldives stated: “TNT Express is very happy to be a partner in this endeavour. The equipment was delivered in perfect condition, and will be used to treat thousands of people countrywide for free, many of whom find the cost of private healthcare to be out of their reach. We are proud to play a small part in saving lives.”
