Tudawe Trading revolutionises Sri Lanka’s industries with steam cleaning

Tudawe Trading together with SJE Corporation of Korea recently launched a green revolution in the cleaning industry in Sri Lanka with the introduction of the Optima range of steam cleaning machines to the local market.

The gala launch was held under the patronage of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Sri Lanka Won-sam Chang. Also present were SJE Corporation of Korea Business Development Manager Tom Kim and Tudawe Trading Chairman/Managing Director Wasantha Tudawe.

The new ‘Optima Steamer’ cleaning machines have totally done away with traditional chemicals, soaps and detergents. The secret of cleaning steam lies in the effective combination of the blast of steam and the temperature. Taking pride of place among the multitude of benefits of steam cleaning is that these Optima steam cleaning machines remove 99.9 % of bacteria and guarantee a 100% germ free cleaned surface.

Steam enables one to access hard-to-reach areas more easily and therefore clean more thoroughly and completely without chemicals. 

The combination of steam power and temperature alone is enough to break up stubborn dirt, grease and stains. One also has the option of increasing the moisture content in the steam for more stubborn stains. 

In fact a single litre of tap water is enough to create 1,700 litres of steam. This saves water and drastically reduces the industrial factories’ budget too.

The Optima steam cleaning machines come in five different heating capacities: 05 KW, 12 KW, 18 KW, 27 KW and 36 KW and work on full electricity. 

There is also an option which is for outdoor use and works on diesel/electric version (equivalent to 24 KW of an electric version). This diesel powered steam boiler is driven by diesel fuel. 

In the fully electric version one can select suitable attachments depending on the application and also engage in two simultaneous cleaning operations with a single machine from 18 KW upwards, thus saving valuable time and speed.

With the nature of its efficiency and sterility, steam cleaning is especially indispensable for hospitals and medical facilities, wineries and tea factories, the F&B industry which includes all farms, hostels, hotels and restaurants, all kinds of machinery, the entire automotive industry which also includes service stations. Added to this are parks and recreational equipment, motorcycles, boats, golf carts, small planes and train passenger wagons and in fact all interiors or exteriors which need a thorough clean up.

Steam cleaning also eliminates waste unlike using pressure washers. 

Those suffering from dust allergies also benefit since the steam binds the dust together and therefore does not eject allergens into the air.
