UAE, Sri Lanka to strengthen ties through hospitality sector

During the recent Sri Lanka Promotion Mission to the UAE, Faiszer Musthapha, Deputy Minister of Investment Promotion, met with Eng. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Abdulaziz Alshihhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy UAE.

The Undersecretary discussed with the Deputy Minister ways and means to enhance the economic cooperation by evolving the relationship between the UAE and Sri Lanka in various fields, specifically in the hotel sector. The Undersecretary also agreed to send a high profile investor delegation from the UAE to explore the possibility of investing in Sri Lanka.

Chairman of the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka Dr. Lakshman Jayaweera also participated in this mission.
