UltraTech Cement strengthens Colombo South Harbour

UltraTech Cement Lanka Ltd., a leading cement manufacturer, announced its strategic involvement in the construction of the Colombo South Harbour. UltraTech Cement supplied roughly 160,000 MT of cement an accumulation of over 90% of the total cement requirement in a span of two years for the South Port. The new South Harbour is the only harbour in South Asia to be able to accommodate Triple E Class vessels and could become one of the main transhipment hubs.
