UltraTech Cement Lanka Ltd., a leading cement manufacturer, announced their involvement in the construction of the Colombo-Katunayake Expressway as the official cement partner. UltraTech Cement supplied more than 105,000 MT of cement, of consistent quality from the same source plant, within a period of three and half years. The Colombo-Katunayake expressway spans 25.1 kilometres, including 4 motor lanes, with motorists now being able to travel between Colombo and Katunayake in about 20 minutes.
