Commenting on the victory, Unilever Sri Lanka Chairman Carl Cruz said, “We are once again honoured to be recognised at the SLIM Nielsen People’s Awards which, unlike other awards, is a reflection of the people’s choice. These awards are a testament to the love and trust our brands have garnered from the community over the years and I am proud to say that we have become a part of their daily lives.”
People’s Awards is an annual, flagship event organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) in partnership with Nielsen Sri Lanka. It holds the distinction of being the only award show in the country to be based on a nationwide independent survey.
