Union Chemicals Lanka PLC won the Silver Award at the National Green Awards Competition 2013/2014 for its latex plant at Ekala, Ja-Ela. The event was organised by the Central Environmental Authority solely to recognsze, reward and encourage the environmentally-friendly performance of industrialists and also their good environmental practices.
