IN-3.4Founded in Southern California, USA in 1963, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is the oldest and largest privately-owned specialty coffee and tea retailer in the US. At present, the retailer has expanded its operations to over 1,000 stores worldwide. Furthermore, the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf franchise in Sri Lanka is owned by the Singapore based investment company, Calamander Group Incorporated.

Sharing his views regarding the newly formed partnership, Calamander Group Inc. Chairman Roman Scott said: “Unlike in a regular package delivery service, customers now have the privilege of relaxing with a fragrant cup of coffee or a slice of blueberry cheesecake while their package details are being processed. This will be a refreshing experience to all Sri Lankans, as it’s the first of its kind to be introduced in the country. We are looking forward to consolidating our partnership with UPS, as the service grows island-wide.”

The UPS retail outlet at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Maitland Crescent, Colombo 7 operates in the same manner as a regular UPS store, offering quick and convenient global access for international shipping customers. The customers of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf can obtain time definite international express products within easy reach.
