UTE launches Caterpillar 428 F backhoe loader

United Tractor and Equipment Pvt. Ltd., long-standing and exclusive dealers of the famed Caterpillar brand in Sri Lanka launched the Caterpillar 428 F Backhoe Loader at a ceremony held at Waters Edge. A large number of contractors and customers gathered at this occasion. Caterpillar India Territory Manager Amit Bansal and Cat Building and Construction Products Division Industry Representative Vijay Rengaraju also participated.

Commenting on the new product, United Tractors and Equipment (UTE) CEO Riyad Ismail stated: “A CAT Backhoe is the most versatile product in the construction machinery range and it renders itself to any basic construction or infrastructure requirement. The new features of the 428 F include an excavator style backhoe that can perform close up truck loading on a single road carriageway and digging over obstacles such as walls. Ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the machine, its load sensing, close centred hydraulic system which matches the power and the flow to the required demand of the relevant tasks enables minimal stress on the system unless needed.

Designed to enhance performance and versatility the 428 F has higher breakout forces, load over height and reach, enabling easier truck loading and shovelling processes. The new Caterpillar Backhoe Loader offers a choice of General Purpose bucket thus contributing to increased versatility. The lower hood line enables a clear line of sight from the top of the bucket allowing excellent field of vision. In line with its trademark excellent ergonomics in the cabin, the Cat 428F is also fitted with controls that are within easy reach of the operator. Further, the CAT air suspension seat provides maximum comfort and ease of operation which reduces operator’s fatigue, ensuring optimum performance.  “Immediately after the launch of 428F Backhoe Loader, the machine on display was purchased, confirming the trust that our clients place in us.
