UTE takes modern welding technology to Jaffna

A seminar was held in Tilco City Hotel, Jaffna to introduce CIGWELD Mild Steel technology and equipment by UTE, participated by employees and representatives of leading construction companies engaged in construction projects in the North and provincial journalists in Jaffna.

The demand for welding equipment and consumables in North and East provinces has grown rapidly since the end of the war. This program was an important step in the UTE’s structured approach to meet this post war demand.

This seminar was also attended by the officials of the welding manufacturing unit of UTE and by CIGWELD South Asian Region Sales Manager Gannason Marimuttu who is a Malaysian national.
