Vidullanka excels at an international competition

Vidullanka PLC’s successful installation of new complete hydropower control systems was rewarded with the second place award for the ‘Best Online Flow Code Project 2011’ held by Matrix Microcontroller Software company – UK.

The project was designed and implemented by Vidullanka Chief Engineer Thushara Gunathilaka at the 3.2 MW Bambarabatuoya Mini Hydro Power Project in Ratnapura. The competition is annually conducted amongst the Engineers who use flow code software around the world. Vidul Engineering Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Vidullanka specialises in providing control solutions including manufacturing panel boards to renewable energy projects in Sri Lanka as well as provides all engineering solutions from designing of power plant to operation and maintenance of the renewable energy projects.
