The Vijitha Yapa Group website www.vijithayapa.lk won the Gold award for the Best E-commerce Website in Sri Lanka at the 2015 BestWeb.lk awards presented by the LK domain registry.

Vijitha Yapa, Chairman of the Vijitha Yapa Group, received the award at a ceremony at the Kingsbury on Thursday night. The award was presented on behalf of the LK domain registry by Pradeep Moraes, Director, Indocean Developers Ltd. and Weerasooriya, Vice President, Group IT Operations of DFCC Bank PLC. Accompanying Yapa was Chanaka Rodrigo, Deputy General Manager of Vijitha Yapa Bookshop and Dilin Alwis, of 3CS, the developer of the site.
