It is a known fact that many restaurants and kitchens in the city have been found unhygienic and dirty and unfit for making food within the Colombo City limits.

Under the ‘Crowns for Food Hygiene,’ scheme Ind-Expo has scheduled a series of training programmes jointly with the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) with the objective of enhancing the knowledge and practices on food safety and hygiene. All trainees will receive a joint certificate of participation.

A workshop on ‘How to Improve Food Safety and Hygiene Standards’ has been scheduled for 27 May 2011 in partnership with the CMC. All trainees will receive a joint certificate of participation.
