YESL, American Center to launch Global Entrepreneurship Week

The Young Entrepreneurs Sri Lanka (YESL) will partner with the American Center to launch the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2011 from 14 -20 November.



The Global Entrepreneurship Week’s activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday 14  November at the American Center Auditorium in Colombo with a presentation followed by a panel discussion on “Celebrating the Spirit of Entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka”.

Suresh de Mel, the Director of YESL will be the Keynote Speaker of the evening.

Panelist for the discussion will include Secretary of Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Sunil Jayantha Navaratne, YESL President Patrick Amarasinghe, Commissioner, Sri Lanka Inventors’ Commission Deepal Sooriyaarachchi, and NDB Bank Endowed Professor in Enterpreneurship at the University of Moratuwa, Prof. Ananada Jayawardana.

During one week each November, Global Entrepreneurship Week, the world’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators, connect young enterpreneurs around the world with innovators, mentors and investors to bring their ideas to life.
