The core issue with corruption, which requires addressing at its root, is the inequitable distribution of wealth relative to the effort to earn it.
Without tackling this, both corrupt and legitimate money will continue to coexist, fuelling ‘Wall Streets’ and ‘Main Streets’ alike.
The global ‘corruption economy’ is estimated at $ 2.6 trillion, according to the World Bank.
This vast sum is not hidden away under mattresses; it is actively at play, propelling economies, financial institutions, enterprises, and consumers!
