This training centre is equipped with all modern-day facilities, to impart training to students in the field of installation, maintenance and safety of elevators and escalators.

Due to the excellent training facilities and skills available, ETA Melco is the right choice of the facilitator for the students who are interested in this field, and they will be given theoretical training and field experience both in the installation and maintenance work.

ETA Melco already has ground record of supplying over 2,700 elevators and escalators in Sri Lanka and over 450 elevators and escalators in the Maldives, and it will be recruiting the second intake of trainees in March 2013 in the field of installation and maintenance of elevators and escalators.

The demand for persons to be trained in this field has gained great importance due to the boom in the construction activities in Sri Lanka and also due to the large number of orders they have secured in this field.

The students after successful completion of the training will be awarded NAC/NVQ level III certificate by NAITA.  The training centre is equipped with a competent lecture panel, comprising of qualified engineers, administrator and skilled supervisors/technicians who have been trained by the principals, Mitsubishi.  The students will be taken through a complete training process, commencing from theory classes, practical demonstrations, job site training and other requisites.

The selected candidates will be given various attractive allowances, medical benefits, and accommodation for outstation students during this training period of two years.
