Last week when the Institute of Hospitality staged its annual International Conference in Colombo, I was challenged to speak on the theme “Tourism - fit to the changing economic landscape of Sri Lanka”. I knew I had to add value to the industry than just congratulating them on the brilliant performance in the last two years. Let me capture the essence for the greater benefit of stakeholders.
