In parallel to the commemoration of the World Sight Day, 110 Free Cataract Surgeries were performed at Suwanetha Lions Eye Hospital at Gothatuwa New Town on 15 October with the participation of District Governor Lion Lal Manuelge of District 306 C2 and Past District Governors.
These surgeries were performed by the Consultant Eye Surgeon Dr. Chamintha Amarathunga
