SOS organisation in France implemented several social services programs in Bentota area. It coincided with the 20th anniversary of the SOS branch in Bentota.
Coordinator of the program, P. A. Ratnasiri said the program included activities to provide relief to the poverty stricken people in Bentota area. Donation of cash and kind, monetary assistance to school children, and donation of requisites of expecting mothers and donation of rice were among them.
SOS President Dr. Allen Pothy, and Sri Lanka branch President P. A. Ratnasiri implemented the program.
