Genesiis Software CSR: Providing school shoes to rural students in Ampara and Monaragala

Genesiis Software – a leading IT company specialising in software engineering and GIS and owner/operator of the ‘topjobs’ careers and recruitment platform – undertook a CSR event to benefit three remote schools in Ampara and Monaragala.

In December 2023, all students of the Rajagama Vidyalaya, Vidyaloka Vidyalaya, and Rathmalgahaella Vidyalaya received new school shoes for the 2024 academic year, and the school offices were given the latest multifunction printers to support their administrative work.

On the day of the handover, the schools welcomed and accepted the donation in a grand manner with concerts of performances showcasing the extraordinary innate talents of their students. 

The community of students and parents consist of farmers and chena cultivators subsisting on agriculture following the honourable traditions of Sri Lanka’s rich agricultural heritage, and the generous and gracious manner in which the school and its community accepted the donation is a testament to this cultural legacy.
