The MBA Alumni University of Colombo collected Rs. 505,000 for the undergraduates facing financial difficulties from its members, which included a donation of Rs. 100,000 from the Association. The cheque was handed over by MBA Alumni President Manohari Abeysekara to the Vice Chancellor Senior Professor Chandrika Wijeratne. The donation was to the University of Colombo Undergraduate Distress Fund.
