Nestlé Milo’s latest campaign ‘Milo Moments’ will reward 1000 winners each week for three months starting from 1 January 2022, with sports and educational equipment such as laptops, tabs, reloads, scooters, bikes, skateboards, basketballs, footballs, skipping ropes, shoes and trampolines. Being a brand that helps nourish its consumers to go further in life, Nestlé Milo is conducting this campaign for the second consecutive year, encouraging children to stay active and lead a healthy lifestyle amidst the challenges of the pandemic.

“With the onset of the pandemic, outdoor sports and team activities came to a standstill, confining children to their homes. As a brand that has always believed in the importance of sports and physical activity to lead a healthy life, we wanted to remind children that there is much that can be done to stay active even during these challenging times. Therefore, it is our pleasure to reward 12,000 children from around the island with sports and educational equipment, encouraging them to be physically active, while also supporting their educational needs” said Nestlé Category Marketing Manager Mohamed Ali.

An event was held on 27 January 2022, in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs, to award winners of the ‘Milo Moments’ campaign. Attending the event, State Minister of Women and Child Development, Pre-Schools and Primary Education, School Infrastructure and Education Services H.M. Piyal Nishantha De Silva said “We are delighted to join hands with a brand such as Nestlé Milo to help nurture a healthier generation. The equipment awarded through this initiative will not only encourage children to be physically active but will also help them develop their sports skills and talents.”
