Upholding its commitment to enhance the lives of Sri Lankan communities, Pan Asia Bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 31 March, with the Marketing Alumni Association (MAA) of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ).
As part of the bank’s sustainability commitment this will be its flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project for 2023. This initiative will uplift the quality of education in children of needy schools and to offer career guidance to support young professionals navigate the job market. Valid for a period of one year, this strategic partnership makes Pan Asia Bank the Official Strategic CSR Sponsor for MAA’s CSR projects. Through such partnerships, Pan Asia Bank aims to integrate economic, social and environmental sustainability into its value chain. On its part, PABC will grant a lifetime waved-off Credit Card with no joining fee to all registered members of the MAA upon evaluation, which will be offered by MAA on its Loyalty Card/App for all the active members of the association. In turn, officials from the bank will be invited wherever applicable to the knowledge-sharing platforms and discussions organised by MAA.
In the process of achieving this mission, the bank engages in meaningful CSR projects that has a positive impact on both the community and the environment. Positioned as the Truly Sri Lankan Bank, Pan Asia is focused on identifying projects that will benefit stakeholders the most and leave a lasting impact.
