People’s Leasing and Finance renovates children’s park in Mahiyanganaya

Refurbished children’s park declared open to the public by People’s Leasing and Finance Mahiyanganaya Branch Manager Asanga Iroshan, Mahiyanganaya Pradeshiya Sabha President K.P. Gunawardena, and People’s Bank Mahiyanganaya Branch Manager Sudheera Jayasinghe

People’s Leasing and Finance PLC has recently renovated the children’s park in Mahiyanganaya in a child-friendly manner based on the request received from Mahiyanganaya Pradeshiya Sabha.

In order to develop positive attitudes among the children, signboards on good habits were also renovated and installed in the inside and outside of the park.

The newly-renovated children’s park was declared to open for the public recently by People’s Leasing and Finance PLC Mahiyanganaya Branch Manager Asanga Iroshan, Mahiyanganaya Pradeshiya Sabha President K.P. Gunawardena, and People’s Bank Mahiyanganaya Branch Manager Sudheera Jayasinghe.

People’s Leasing and Finance PLC constructed this children’s park in Mahiyanganaya town in 2015 as one of their community-based Corporate Social Responsibility projects. This was an ideal recreation centre for the children in Mahiyanganaya to spend their free and vacation time in an effective manner.

People’s Leasing & Finance PLC, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2021, had contributed to the installation of awareness boards for the general public at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
