Port City Colombo donates high flow oxygen therapy machines to aid national battle against COVID-19

Amid the third wave of the rising number of COVID-19 cases around the country, Port City Colombo donated high flow oxygen therapy machines to aid the national battle against the pandemic. The donation was made to Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi at the Health Ministry premises and was handed over by CHEC Port City Colombo Managing Director Jiang Houliang, on behalf of the company.

The Minister highly appreciated the donation stating that it is a timely initiative due to the high demand for such equipment with increasing COVID cases across the island. Port City Colombo has continued to support the health authorities in their efforts to control the spread of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic outbreak in the country and has made multiple well-timed donations to the authorities over the past few months.

Health Ministry Secretary Dr. S.H. Munasinghe and Director General of Health Services Dr. Asela Gunawardena as well as Port City Colombo Manager Marketing Cui Yang, Head of Public Relations Kassapa Senarath and Manager Finance Analyst Nabiha Mohomed also participated at the handover.
