‘Siddhalepa’ donates Ayurveda medicines to Sri Lanka Army

Following the Ayurveda medicine donation to IDH Hospital in April, Siddhalepa ‘The Leader of Ayurveda’ industry in Sri Lanka, donated another stock of Ayurveda medicines to the Sri Lanka Army. Siddhalepa Group Managing Director Asoka Hettigoda and Director Vidyani Hettigoda handed over the goods to the Army Commander, Lieutenant General LHSC Silva, WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc at the Defence Headquarters Complex, Akuregoda. Siddhalepa wishes the best of health to our brave soldiers of the Sri Lanka Army who are making a tremendous commitment in the fight against COVID-19.

In the fight against this pandemic in Sri Lanka, the wisdom of Ayurveda and its remedies to enhance the immunity has been recognised by the medical authorities and the government of Sri Lanka.

The wisdom of Ayurveda, clearly explains how a disease can be contagious and also how it can be prevented. Ayurveda focuses on preventing diseases as much as curative remedial procedures and it states that immunity, physical and mental strength and hygienic practices are the paramount means to prevent a disease from spreading and becoming contagious.

The donation consists of:

Siddhalepa Lakpeyawa to promote immunity – Ginger, coriander, pathpadagam, venivel and thippili are well known immunity boosters. Ideal for fever, common colds, headaches, body aches and pains caused by aggravation of the three doshas. Anti-inflammatory properties of ayurveda ingredients pacifies vata, pita, kapa dosha.

Siddhalepa Balm for steam inhalation – Recommends herbal steam inhalation twice a day with 2 g of Siddhalepa. Eucalyptus oil, citronella oil, cinnamon oil, pinene oil, menthol and camphor of Siddhalepa helps to prevent breathing difficulties and respiratory discomforts. 

Siddhalepa Asamodagam – Siddhalepa Asamodagam Spirit which has natural thymol derived from asamodagam seeds Helps to prevent indigestion, soothes bloating stomach and diarrhoea. Antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal activities of thymol helps to treat sore throat and minor oral inflammations.  Aqualive Rasakinda/Aqualive Ranawara – Rasakinda is a well-known immune booster. It reduces stress and gives a cooling effect to the body. Ranawara helps to promote immunity by purifying blood, and detoxifying the body.
