Textrip of Elasto Group donates optiflow oxygen system to Nagoda Gen. Hospital

Elasto Group, the premier manufacturer and exporter of natural latex progressive resistance bands, reaffirmed its humanitarian responsibility towards Sri Lankans by donating a much-needed optiflow oxygen delivering system – adult (AVRO2) to General Hospital Nagoda, Kalutara.

This philanthropic gesture was made after Minister Namal Rajapaksa made a request and it was coordinated by his Coordinating Secretary Mahinda Bandara. This donation costs over Rs. 1 million and the purchase was made by Elasto Group and Textrip Ltd. Chairman and Managing Director Mangala Gunasekera.

It was the belief that this donation made by Gunasekera will enhance the reputation of the Elasto Group as a frontliner in CSR events.

Nagoda General Hospital Consultant Surgeon Dr. D.C. Rajapakse and Deputy Director Dr. Nilantha Karasinghe said that the hospital was in dire need of an optiflow oxygen delivering system. Major General Rohana Bandara who was also present said that the hospital system needed more donations of this nature. Textrip Business Development Manager Dilshan Lokuenderage and Sales Representative cum Demonstrator Vimukthi Wickramanayake were also present.
