UNA donates personal protective kits and face shields to police stations in Colombo and Panadura

United Nations Association of Sri Lanka affiliated with the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) donated personal protective kits and face shields to the police stations in Colombo and Panadura.

The first donation was made to the Grandpass Police Station followed by the Amour Street Police Station, Kotahena Police Station, Maligawatte Police Station, Dematagoda Police Station, Maradana Police Station and Wellampitiya Police Station. All donations were received by the OICs of the respective police stations.

These PP Kits and face shields would provide protection to the teams of police officers involved in the COVID-19 program.

Executive Chairman of UNA Ambassador Dr. M.M.M. Rushanudeen, Secretary General Errol G. Smith, Editor and Assistant Treasurer Dharmadasa Vitharana, Honorary Exco Member M.Z.M.  Haniffa, Special Life Member M.M.M. Rifathudeen and well-wisher M.F.M. Faizer were also present at the handing-over ceremony. 

Special Life Member M.S.M. Hamza, Life Member M.S.M. Irfan and Dr. M.M.M. Rushanudeen were sponsors for this project.
