Union Assurance celebrates World Children’s Day

• Holds Union Assurance Sisumaga+ Children’s Day in Kandy

The city of Kandy was abuzz with fun and frolic on 1 October with the Union Assurance Sisumaga+ Children’s Day at the Kandy City Center. The event was action-packed with art competitions, photo booths, and other fun activities which took place throughout the day from 10 am 5 pm. Children and parents turned up in large numbers to be a part of the event. 

The highlight of the event was the art competition titled ‘Loku Wunama Mama’ (When I Grow Up), where kids can show off their skills and stand a chance to win prizes. All children participated actively in the competition sharing their thoughts on what they wanted to be when they grow up.

Union Assurance recently launched Sisumaga+, a unique protection-based plan specially designed to ensure uninterrupted education from childhood through to university. Sisumaga+ is for parents who wish to make provision for their child’s academic expenses for University or tertiary education, ensuring that the higher education costs are met, even in the unfortunate circumstance of a possible demise of the parent.
