Amana Bank assists grade five scholarship model exams

Amana Bank partnered with the Zonal Education Department of Kalmunai which organised the model exam for grade five students preparing for the 2013 scholarship exams in the Kalmunai zone. More than 2,400 students were benefited by this initiative which covered more than 60 schools in the zone.
The staff from the bank’s Kalmunai and Nintavur branches along with 250 academic staff took the responsibility of arranging and supervising the examinations with the guidance of the Kalmunai Zonal Education Department.
Through this program, the students were able to attempt the model exam paper and which prepared them as it simulated a real exam environment prior to sitting for the main exams, which are scheduled to be held in August.
Speaking about this program, the bank’s Vice President – Consumer Banking and Strategic Marketing Siddeeque Akbar said: “We are proud to partner with the Kalmunai Zonal Education Department in carrying out this model exam. We hope the students have benefited from this program and wish them all the best for their upcoming exams.”
