Asian International, Cinnamon Grand conducts ‘No time to waste’

Cinnamon Grand’s Green Team conducted an e-waste awareness session at the Asian International School for 200 students, aged between 14 and 16.

Cinnamon Grand’s pioneering ‘No time to waste’ environmental campaign for Colombo schools is part of its commitment to share knowledge and environmental friendly practices, with the younger generation.

The initiative was launched on World Environment Day 2012, with the initial session held at Ladies’ college with 100 students participating in the interactive and educational awareness sessions, conducted by Cinnamon Grand’s Green Team members in collaboration with Think Green.

The session is aimed to encourage e-waste recycling amongst students and is the first of its kind carried out by a hotel in Sri Lanka.
