CBL group staff donates flood relief for people in Horrowpathana

Employees of Ceylon Biscuits Limited (CBL) and other companies belonging to the group donated a lorry load of food items this week for the benefit of the flood victims in Horrowpathana at the request of the North Central Province Governor.

The donation was handed over to the Divisional Secretary of Horrowpathana. This is the second time the CBL Group donated flood relief for people affected by the recent floods. The company previously donated two consignments of Munchee biscuits worth over Rs.2 million for the benefit of flood victims in the Eastern and North Central Provinces. Here General Manager – Human Resources Chathura Wijesooriya hands over the donation to the Divisional Secretary Office in Maharagama to be sent to the Horrowpathana Divisional Secretary
