Chevron recently donated several air mattresses for patients being treated in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (Recovery Care Unit) of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka.

The air mattress is a necessity for all SICU patients who are critically ill, in order to prevent bed sores and deep vein thrombosis of prolonged immobilised patients. The air mattress units donated by Chevron to the National Hospital Recovery Care Unit will help facilitate a speedy recovery for patients being treated immediately after a surgery.
