The Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo CSR initiative at the St. James Church inWewaldeniya took place on 07 June 2014. 70 hotel associates left from Colombo at 6:30 a.m. for Wewaldeniya in aid of restorating the old church.
All 70 associates of different religious backgrounds, took part in painting the exterior and interior church walls, painted statues, white washed the interior and cleaned the surround gardens.
In addition, children belonging to an orphanage located within the church premises, were given morning and afternoon snacks by associates.
