Coca-Cola donates in support of youth cricketing spirit

Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Limited (CCBSL) continued its display of dedication to the youth and community of Sri Lanka, by supporting the Kothalawala Maha Vidyalaya, Kaduwela with a donation of cricketing equipment was totaling Rs. 350,000.

The generous act went hand in hand with, Coca-Cola’s philosophy of fostering an ‘Active Healthy Lifestyle’. The act displayed the compassionate side of the global beverage giant, and was made on recognition of a long standing need of the school.

Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Country Marketing Manager Shamal Gunawardene stated, “We recognise the importance of an active lifestyle in inspiring children to become better students, better people, and proud citizens of Sri Lanka. We hope that our support of the school will help them develop and succeed in the cricketing arena. We are committed to Kothalawala Maha Vidyalaya and would like to confirm our support of the under 13 cricket team in the years to come.”
