Commercial Bank CSR Trust sponsors two students for overseas education

The Commercial Bank CSR Trust sponsored two students from the Vavuniya District who won scholarships to study at Sambhram Academy of Management Studies of Banglore, an affiliate of Bangalore University, for degrees in Business Management and Marketing Management.
The request made to the Trust by the Commercial Bank Branch of the Ceylon Bank Employees Union was for the sponsorship of these students for three years while they studied in India. The graduates, P.S.K. Chedarathna and B.M.T.L. Jayasena, returned to Sri Lanka recently after successfully completing their degrees. The Commercial Bank CSR Trust took the initiative of donating two laptops to these graduates for use in their further studies.
