Dialog Axiata joins hands with HelpAge Sri Lanka for a worthy cause

Dialog Star Points, Sri Lanka’s largest loyalty rewards network is in partnership with HelpAge Sri Lanka, and enables the Dialog customers to donate their star points towards providing medical and eye care facilities for the needy elder generation of the Sri Lankan population.

HelpAge Sri Lanka is a non-profit charitable organisation committed for the betterment of the needy elders. Out of the many projects carried out by Help Age Sri Lanka, the mobile medical service takes the most outstanding place while providing medical and eye care facility for needy elders totally free of charge.

HelpAge Sri Lanka encompasses two Mobile Medical Service units with qualified and dedicated medical staff, latest medical equipment, a pharmacy and a ready supply of free spectacles to assist the needy. Each mobile medical camp costs approximately Rs. 70,000 per day to operate.

Spectacles are issued free of charge to the needy and those who are identified with Cataract are referred to the HelpAge eye hospital or to the nearest Government Hospital for immediate surgery.

Dialog Axiata’s Star points is a fully mobile enabled rewards network which enables the Dialog customers to earn and spend Star points with more than 400 partner merchants and 20,000 outlets island wide.

The response received from the Dialog customers so far has been exceptional and HelpAge Sri Lanka proudly acknowledges all Dialog contributors with much gratitude.
