Earth Hour celebrations at Galadari

The Galadari Hotel celebrated Earth Hour in a special way on 29 March. The hotel had organised a partial electricity shut down in the Lobby and restaurant outlet areas in support of energy saving initiatives from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Headed by the hotel’s General Manager Sampath Siriwardena, the management team, staff and guests joined in the Earth Hour celebrations. An attractive candle illuminated centrepiece was lit up by all in the centre Lobby, after which everyone enjoyed a special welcome drink of nelli and mint and the endless entertainment of an unplugged band. The California Grill was romantically lit up with alluring candle and floral displays. The hotel’s Café 64 also had candles and fire lanterns adding an earthly atmosphere to its Hawker Street guests.
