This year software development company EFutures reached out to Bethlehem Crèche in Wanathamulla. In February it funded the construction of a new washroom complex and better toilet facilities for this children’s day care centre.

This is a very important initiative and one that EFutures is proud to support. EFutures seeks to continue such initiatives that strengthen and support our community, and advances the well-being of our nation’s children.

Bethlehem Crèche was established in 1954 and is one of many places that do their utmost to improve the lives of the children caught in the web of poverty. The day care assists 75 to 85 infants and children aged from one month to five years, irrespective of religion or race.

The company is aggressively looking at community betterment and is focused on looking out for worthy causes that the company could contribute to, a spokesman for the company said. The company is also looking at assisting schools with lesser means by way for infrastructure donations and even assistance in IT Education.

“We believe it to be our responsibility to contribute back to society and assist the less fortunate thereby participating in the nations betterment as a whole,” a spokesman for the company said.
